Imposter Syndrome - Day 35

The thing about imposter syndrome is that we all have it. At some point in our lives we are going to feel like either a fraud or someone incapable of doing the thing we want to do in life.

But the thing is the reason we feel that way is never about us. It’s about the belief we have of the people around us. It’s about how we think we are going to be perceived.

If we didn’t think anyone was watching we’d never catch it.

It’s the worry of what others think that impedes our action.

But remember that in order to help someone you only need to know more than they do.

And if you know more than they do then you have a duty and an obligation to step up and become the person you were meant to be.

That’s authenticity not an imposter.
