Stories - Day 31

Donald Miller defines a story as simply this: “A character who wants something and overcomes conflict to get it.”

Whether you like it or not you are in the middle of one big story.

To make it a great one you have to decide to things:

  1. What do you really want to make of this one precious life?

  2. What are you willing to overcome to get it?

Most people watch their whole lives pass by because they are waiting for their purpose to arrive on their door step. I’m here to tell you life doesn’t work that way. You are going to have to go out and search for it.

Remember it’s your story, so feel free to hit them with a plot twist whenever you’re ready.
